A positive "YES!" to The Readable Bible, the new WORD-FOR-WORD FORMATTED HOLY BIBLE.

One thousand years before Abraham, the Egyptians gave us papyrus scrolls which were in use for over 3,000 years. In the century following the birth of the Christian church, those papyrus scrolls gave way to what we would today recognize as the "book" format. Around 1,500 years later, the arrival of the printing press made possible the distribution of the Holy Bible worldwide. The King James Bible alone has sold and distributed in excess of 4 billion copies. Since the King James Bible in 1611, numerous translations by individuals and committees have seen the light of day. However, they all have one thing in common: they have followed the same formatting.

Now we have The Readable Bible, and it comes with new formatting, and it works in many different ways. “The proof of the pudding, of course, is in the eating!” From the sections that I have already read in this new format, I can say that it is easy to read, easy to take in, and I found myself reading for longer than usual.

Accessible - Yes

Readable - Yes

Beneficial - Yes

Inspirational - Yes

Maybe all these words can be summarized like this: an indispensable Bible.

As the Ambassador of UCCF, I would definitely commend it to students. As a Bible-reader for 65 years, I would commend it as a new way into God's Holy Word.
